What Kids Want Update
We have new numbers in the "What Kids Want" section. The Insights People tracks thousands of children. "What Kids Want" represents a ranking of what toys children would like to have that they don't currently own. Check the What Kids Want section for the new list.
Here is my analysis of notable changes since we last ran the list in November:
Lego is still the number 1 choice but fell from 7.2% to 6.5%
Barbie is still number 2 choice but fell from 3.8% to 3.5%. LOL Dolls fell from number 3 to number 7. Their percentage of “wants” fell from 3.5% to 1.3%.
Cars moved from 4th to 3rd with an increase from 1.9% to 3.1%.
Batman did not make the previous list and is now in 6th place.
Spiderman also moved up. It went from twelfth at .8% to 8th at 1.3%.
Fortnite made a big jump from twenty-second (.4%) to 9th 1%.
American Girl moved down from ninth (.9%) to twentieth (.4%)
Frozen dropped from fifteenth (.6%) to twenty-sixth (.4%).
Pokemon dropped from thirteenth (.7%) to 30th (.4%)
Minecraft at seventeenth (.6%) fell off the list as did Ryan’s World which was in thirtieth place (.4%)
